WORLD WATER DAY

An awareness for conserving water...

Water is a precious resource. In earth around 72% of surface area is covered with water. In spite of enormous amount of water available on earth, we suffer a lot in Summer to get it.

               There are several sources of water  like Wells, tube-wells, ponds, rivers, lakes, seas, oceans streams, ice-cups and underground water. Also water is present in the atmosphere  in the form of water vapour; But we can't use it because most of it is saline in nature. About 97.3% of water is saline and only 2.7% of it is freshwater. All of the freshwater can't be used by us as they are stored at underground and present in ice-cups. If we consider all the water resources 2ltr, out of which only one half spoon  water is fresh water. Now we estimate that the grand total of earth's water resources are limited and it can't be growing up. It is approximately estimated that the volume of water present in earth's surface  is 140 Crore km³. Due to the presence of huge amount of water. We called our earth as so considering the importance and necessity of water. We should never waste it. 

     According to the survey of UNO(united nations organization). Everyday everyone uses 50 lit of water for drinking, washing, cooking and also hygenic purpose. 

All we see in summer season, in some place people suffer a lot for getting drinking water. They have to walk a long distance (about 5km)  for bucketful or a pot of water. Even huge gathering is seem d around the tuble-wells in city area

as they are waiting in a queue to collect water for them. 

In 2017-18 survey report of our central govt as well as state govt only 70lit of water is provided for each one for daily use but this requirement can't be fulfilled as only 40lit of water is available for this purpose. It was first life is possible  in water particle, water stands the vital role in every  cell (i.e plant cell and animal cell). 

like wise human beings, plants also require water for photosynthesis. So without water whole world will become a desert by observing various point of views. We known how greatly water is needed for us. We should never want to waste a drop of water by any means. Owing to so badly necessity of water we called by another name 'Life' that's why we observe 22nd march as world water day every year since 2003 and also 2005-2015 is observed  as "world water day"
